Can't Find the Property Room?
If you are having trouble finding the property room, come into the lobby of the Police Department, located at 155 Center Street, during property business hours and speak with one of our front desk volunteers for assistance.

Be Prepared

Proof of ownership is required.

When visiting the property room, make sure you have...

• Photo Identification
• Case Number

1. Park in the Santa Cruz Police Department parking lot located at 155 Center Street.
2. Exit the parking lot and take a right. Continue straight.
3. Continuing straight, you will see a sign for Washington Street on the right. Take that right onto Washington Street and continue straight.
4. Veer right with Washington Street and continue straight.
5. On the right hand side, you will see the property room door. It looks like the following image:
   
   
   
6. Hit the button on the call box between:
   12:30 PM and 2:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays
   and a Police Property and Evidence Specialist will answer to assist.
