Effective July 1, 2023, there are new parking rates in the Downtown Parking District per City Council Resolution NS 30,131(PDF, 199KB) , City Council Resolution NS 30,132,(PDF, 308KB) and City Council Resolution 2023-07.(PDF, 163KB) Select these resolution links to review the new rates.
Currently, Downtown employees can take advantage of $75/month subsidized parking permit(PDF, 433KB) in Locust, River-Front and Soquel-Front Garages.
Parking Services manages and maintains four downtown parking structures and nearly 30 surface parking lots throughout the City. We offer some of the lowest parking fees along the Central Coast with safe and convenient parking options never more than a few blocks away. We offer convenient parking payment options including:
- ParkCard which means you never need to search for coins and you can avoid parking tickets. Watch our ParkCard video. Only pay for the time you use at parking meters and get a refund of your unused time, added back onto your card. Learn more and purchase a ParkCard at the following locaitons:

Parking Services is comprised of four divisions: Parking Office, Parking Enforcement, Off-Street Parking and Parking Maintenance.
