Liquid Waste Haulers

The Liquid Waste Program manual, Handling Procedures For Trucked In Waste, includes the following:

  • a description of the City of Santa Cruz Liquid Waste Receiving Facility operations
  • a description of the liquid waste hauler permitting process
  • a Liquid Waste Hauler Discharge Permit application
  • criteria for acceptable wastes.

To obtain a Liquid Waste Hauler Discharge Permit, complete the permit application found on pages 12-14 of the manual. Please mail the completed pages to the Liquid Waste Receiving Facility (address below).

Manual Liquid Waste Hauler Fees

Liquid waste haulers discharging septic/grease waste at the Santa Cruz Wastewater Treatment Plant will be charged for 85% of the truck tank capacity.

Rates per gallon are determined by the County Environmental Health Department.
