Tony Hill (ABC) Room

The Tony Hill Room is the largest side space at the Civic Auditorium. The room can accommodate various layouts to host a meeting, class or reception. Please see the standard layouts below. Tony Hill (1945-2007) spent most of his adult life as an activist for social justice and as a passionate promoter of opportunities for disadvantaged youth in the greater Santa Cruz community. He built bridges and provided hope. Hill spent many important hours of his life at the Civic Auditorium producing high school athletic events for local television, refereeing city league basketball games, and advocating for programs and policies that both reflected and celebrated the diversity of our community. He always sought to find "win-win" solutions. Tony Hill was a civic-minded individual in every sense of the word. This room is lovingly dedicated to his memory by his family, his friends, and the City of Santa Cruz.
